The Bureau of Personal Lending Oversight (BPLO) is a nonpartisan regulatory body that provides compliance monitoring and enforcement across the personal and small business lending industry. BPLO was established to protect borrowers and ensure transparency in lending practices.
What We Do

Leadership & Operations
The BPLO operates under the Federal Consumer Finance Charter and collaborates with state and national agencies to ensure accountability and fair lending nationwide. All officers undergo extensive background screening and ethics certification.
